(eTradeWire.Org)Bullhorn.co.uk is announcing it’s intensions to sell and is requesting offers from interested parties, any parties considering investing will also be considered.

Bullhorn.co.uk is a comparison website with a strong internet presence, over the phone comparison services and is also a taxi insurance brokerage. The business initially focused on offering car insurance comparison services and has expanded into offering home, van and bike insurance comparison services, as well as offering a call back service for comparing taxi insurance. The business also offers comparison on a range of broadband services from major providers and over 40,000 mobile phone products.

The revenue streams for the business come primarily from affiliate schemes, reselling schemes, selling lead data and commission on insurance related services. These are proven sustainable revenue streams that have led to consistent growth and steady profits, as well as low overheads.

Most of the initial investment required in establishing the company went into the development of comparison technologies and internet marketing. As a result Bullhorn.co.uk has a strong internet presence and extremely flexible technological comparison services –which are powered using XML and XSL technologies. These advances have led to full XSD incorporation of third party data providers (SSP, OpenGI, CDL and proprietary systems) with a development timescale of just a few days.

The reason for the sale of the business and invitations to invest is that the private investors of the company have sustained heavy losses in other business ventures due to credit crunch related issues, and have thus led to reduced investment in marketing for Bullhorn.co.uk. As a result the business owners feel they don’t have the financial capability to market the Bullhorn brand on the scale it needs.
