Email Friend Contact Author (eTradeWire.Org) – All companies interested in doing business with Cincinnati Public Schools are invited to the Professional and Technical Services Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, February 9, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., sponsored by CPS’ Supplier Diversity Office.
The meeting, which will be held in Room 1A at the CPS Education Center, 2651 Burnet Ave., 45219, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by Allison Asset Management. Speakers for the meeting will be: Dawn Grady, Manager of Cincinnati Public Schools’ Department of Marketing and Community Affairs; and Kelly Morgan, small business coach and owner of Sage Professional Strategies. Ms. Grady will discuss how the Department of Marketing and Community Affairs handles outside vendors, and how the district is utilizing social networking sites to reach out to the community. Ms. Morgan will discuss how businesses can benefit from entrepreneurial and small business coaching. This is one of three outreach meetings coordinated each month by CPS’ Supplier Diversity Office — the Goods & Services Advisory Committee, the Professional & Technical Services Advisory Committee and the Construction Advisory Committee. The meetings are designed to help business owners learn how to successfully do business with CPS, network with both small and large companies, and use what they’ve learned about bidding to secure contracts with other large public and private entities. We look forward to your attendance and the opportunity to remove the obstacles to doing business with Cincinnati Public Schools. Registration is free, but seating is limited. To register, call Mike Allison at (513) 421-7200 or send an e-mail confirmation to info@mikeallison.net. # # #
